a bowl made from nativ copper is exhibited in the current exhibition “museum of museums” at the richartz wallraff museum in cologne.
the work, owned by the kolumba museum cologne, was created according to an exhibition concept by john cage, in which 17 cologne museums each contributed three randomly selected objects from their collections

The special feature of these new bowls is that they were each made from a whole bar of "Prettau copper".

The irregular rim of the bowl created by forging was deliberately left as it is.

The origin and materiality are thus expressed even more strongly.
